Milenarium

The Milenarium is a 1,000-year-old astronomical monument located in the town of Cesenatico, Italy. It is a stone structure that was built to track the movements of the sun and stars. The Milenarium is believed to have been constructed in the late 9th or early 10th century AD.

The Milenarium is a circular structure that is composed of 24 stone slabs. These slabs are arranged in such a way that they form 12 radial spokes. The slabs are also marked with a series of grooves and indentations that allow them to track the movements of the sun and stars.

The Milenarium is an important archaeological site and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of only a few remaining examples of this type of astronomical monument.
